A stunning coat in unrelieved black. This ankle length Rifle Frock is the coat of the Wild West. Our version is made of blended polyester and viscose fabric and fully lined to drape beautifully and move easily with you. Ideal for SASS and frontier reenactors.
Our coat features an inside and outside left breast pocket, two front lower flap pockets, notched lapels and gorgeous detailing on the split back.

Made in USA by Wahmaker Exterior 65% polyester, 35% viscose. Lining 100% acetate. Dry clean only. 3 cloth covered buttons on front and each sleeve.
Available in sizes 38-54. Sizes below 38 may be available, call to check stock and pricing.
This coat runs large to allow it to be worn over a dress coat. If you do not intend to wear it over another dress coat, then you will likely need one size smaller than you normally wear. If you intend to use it as an overcoat, please order your standard size.

The rifle frock coat is an excellent addition to a western-theme costume. The size chart works well for an ankle-length coat. It is well cut and stitched, and light enough for indoor use. It was more thin than I thought I would like at first, but it ended up working quite well with a Victorian fashion costume underneath and flows very well thanks to the waist-high slit, which is well reinforced and unlikely to rip.

I found this product to be represented poorly in the description on the Website. Even taking into consideration the oversize nature of the coats and ordering smaller sizes they were way too big. They were too large in the chest and too long in the body for the smaller sizes that I ordered. Even the tall actors wearing the coats looked like dwarves because they were so long.
