Unlike today, suntans were considered déclassé in the nineteenth century. As Ladies Home Journal noted in May of 1890 parasols were “made for the protection of beauty against its greatest enemy except time”. Therefore no young lady of fine breeding would be caught about without protection from the elements. Our white parasol will be a most versatile addition to your wardrobe.

Parasol measures 26” long and canopy measures approximately 34” in diameter when opened. Features a latch to keep parasol open or closed. Matching white lace fan is also available.
