A stylish town coat, perfect for daywear. This cut became increasingly popular in the 1870’s and grew into the predominant coat style for daywear by the end of the century and would have been seen on successful businenessmen or lawmen throughout the country.

This unlined 100% cotton fabric coat is durable yet stylish with classic black and red pinstriping. Pair with our Edgewood Vest for a refined look. Or mix and match with a red vest such as the Rigney or a black vest such as the Whitman for a distinctive ensemble.

Made by Wahmaker in the USA. 100% cotton exterior. 100% acetate lining. Dry Clean Only. Features 2 front flap pockets and 1 breast pocket. Available in sizes 42-48.

Our coats are made with typical american sizing, meaning your chest measurement (in inches) is the size you should choose.

To measure your chest: Raise your arms slightly and measure just under your arms. Be sure to cross over the shoulder blades and the fullest part of the chest.

Longs: If indicated in the selection list (e.g. 46L,) long sizes may also be available. Longs are approximately 2" longer in the back and sleeves.
