Pioneer Apron (Sold Out) [001576W]

As she heard the carriage roll up her drive, she quickly removed her work apron and straightened her skirt. Once again she was grateful for her full length apron that protected her skirt while she prepared tea for the local church ladies.

Given the difficulty in washing clothing during the Victorian Era, long aprons were de rigueur for ladies as they baked, cleaned and worked on the farm or in the house. This crisp white, high quality apron would be perfect for serving lemonade at the Sunday Church Social or baking bread in your own kitchen.

Made in the USA, our 100% cotton apron has two large side-seam pockets to carry necessities as you move throughout your day. Front apron is approximately 35" long and 64" across at the bottom, to cover hoop skirts or plain dresses. Waistband is approximately 2" tall. Waist and tie length vary by size. Machine wash cold, gentle cycle. Hang to dry or tumble dry low. Apron waistband sizing:

S/M 25" with 2-30" ties L/XL 32" with 2-40" ties XL/2X 40" with 2-44" ties
