Temperance Baker, Ranch Owner

Miss Baker was born in the middle of the decade’s worst blizzard and spent the first twelve hours of life kicking and screaming. Her mother named her Temperance in hopes of subduing her unruly tendencies, but her strategy has thus far failed to produce the desired results

Temperance began managing the Double Bar ranch after her father fell to the claws of a maddened grizzly, and is said to be a tough but fair trail boss, and despite constant urgings by the local matrons she has thus far avoided the bonds of matrimony.
